Abstract

Claudia was invited to deliver Post-Trauma SF sessions for Nepalese professionals, such as Social Workers, Psychologists, Mental Health Workers, etc. after the second Earthquake hit Nepal in 2015.

Claudia will speak about how the SF Approach helped the professionals to look better after themselves, in order for them to be able to help others who needed post-trauma support.

Claudia will speak about how the SF Approach creates:

  • A space for people to talk about their traumatic experience.

  • How the approach gives hope.

  • How scaling questions can help to strengthen faith in the skills and strengths that the clients already have.

Learning objectives

  • Gain confidence in asking positive questions after people have experienced, or still are going through trauma

  •  Have an opportunity to ask and discuss questions in how to use the SF Approach on an individual level for professionals when they are supporting others in Post-Traumatic settings.
